Rowdy...

Little Rowdy Man has made himself right at home with us. I can't believe how much he's taken with us and the other dogs so quickly. He's the sweetest little thing, but really lives up to his name! He's already harassing the cats. It's quite funny to see a 2 pound dog harassing a 12 pound cat...haha. But, he really is such a lovely puppy. He and Jazz are the best buds, and where you see one, you see the other. After looking closely at him, it's been determined that he is a Chocolate Brindle Spotted On White. My breeder said she saw the brindling but was sure since it was light. Hopefully, we'll be able to see it better as he grows.

Jazmyn & Her Frog...

My girl, Jazmyn has taken her pick out of the toys. She found this frog in the toy bin, and played with it nonstop most of the morning. I'm assuming she's found her new favorite toy! She absolutely love that thing, and carries it around, running away from the other Chihuahuas with it. I guess she has no intentions on sharing...lol. This photo also shows how beautiful she is. Her color and eyes are just stunning, and the more I look at her, the more beauty I see in her. She's an all around lovley girl.

Two new additions...

Meet Jazmyn & Rowdy. We was only supposed to bring home Rowdy, our little Chocolate SOW, but a little girl caught our attention also. Jazmyn is 5 months old, and is a Fawn Merle. We love both these babies to death. Both are perfect additions to our little family. So well behaved and get along well with all the other kids. I just wanted to give a quick introduction...I'll do individual posts later...

Bath Day...

Yup, today is one of those days that Radar & Rebel dread. It's BATH DAY. After chasing Rebel through the house a few times, I managed to catch him and get him in the tub. He tends to gravitate away from the water, so it's quite a task to bathe him. As, for Radar....once I start wetting him, he leans away from the water and basically falls over. I dunno what he thinks he's accomplishing from falling away from it...lol. They're not fond of getting bathed, but boy do they love the after effects. They come out running around like wild indians! I managed to get a shot or two of Rebel after his bath, but Radar refused to have his photo taken while lookin' like a drowned rat. So, without further adieu....."Wet Puppy Of The Day".

The Chihuahuas In My Life...

This is the man that started it all. This is Radar, he's our little 7lb Chocolate & Tan boy! My husband, fiance at the time, bought him for me as a traveling companion. We were 2000 miles from home while he worked, and I needed some companionship. Radar was the perfect traveling companion. He came from a small breeder in Arizona. This little man is the reason why I fell in love with the breed, and why I wanted more Chihuahuas.

This is Rebel, our little Merle boy! He's our 9lb Blue Merle Long Coat. After searching for 3 years for my perfect Merle Chihuahua, I found him. Rebel was a rescue...he was surrendered to a breeder/friend in Pennsylvania, and was supposed to be re-homed. I had been emailing the breeder that was homing him, and she offered him to us. We couldn't turn him down! I feel in love with him from the very first photo I saw at 8 weeks. This is our man at 10 months old...

This is Rowdy. He's our 3rd Chihuahua, and will be coming from Conneaut, Ohio. He's coming from an amazing friend/breeder. We waited patiently for this breeding to take and the litter to be born. The litter finally came of April 11th, 2009. As it turned out, he was the only pup that wasn't fawn or cream in the litter. So, we knew as soon as we seen him, that he was our boy! We're driving up to pick him up on the weekend of June 12th! Rowdy is 5 weeks in this picture...

An Introduction...

Well, I've had this blog for awhile, but never really did anything with it. So, I thought I would. This blog is dedicated to the little ones in my life who love me unconditionally. Those little ones are...Radar & Rebel (Chihuahuas), Teddy (Jack-a-Poo), & Sandy Jo (My Mini Doxie of 10 years). This blog will mostly be following the good life that the Chihuahuas have, as well as my others furkids. I really hope you'll enjoy stopping by....
